November is National Diabetes Month. This year’s theme for American Diabetes Month® is “Eat Well, America!” According to the American Diabetes Association, Diabetes affects nearly 30 million children and adults in the U. S. today – nearly 10 percent of the population. Every 19 seconds someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with diabetes. As dietitians, we want to help you learn how to enjoy delicious, healthy food while managing your diabetes. Learning to manage diabetes is the key to living well with diabetes.
